Day 01: Srinagar -Pahalgam
Upon arrival in Srinagar, our tour representative will meet you and assist you in smooth transfer to Pahalgam. Upon arrival at Pahalgam, get transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Pahalgam – Chandanwari – Sheshnag
In the morning, leave Pahalgam Valley and later drive towards Chandanwari. Pahalgam is the best base for most treks. Chandanwari (2896 meters) is a small shut off vale, at the junction of Sheshnag stream and the stream of Astanmarg. Upon arrival in Chandanwari, trek to Sheshnag, which is located around 13 kilometers. The trial climbs the Pissu Ghati and then climbs gradually to the Sheshnag Lake. It is one of the windiest places in this valley. Dinner and overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.
Day 03: Sheshnag – Panchtarni – Amarnath -Panchtarni
In the morning, start your trek to Panchtarni from Sheshnag (3657 meters). The walk is through Mahagunas Pass (3200 meters), and then a gradual walk to Panchtarni. Thereafter, trek from Panchtarni to Amarnath Cave. It is only 6 kilometers away from Panchtarni. Take a dip in the ice-cold water of Amarnath stream, which flows outside the cave. Inside the cave, there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering three massive Lingmas stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvati and Ganesh. Later, trek back towards Panchtarni. Dinner and overnight stay in Panchtarni.
Day 04: Panchtarni – Chandanwari – Pahalgam – Srinagar
In the morning, trek down to Chandanwari. Upon arrival in Chandanwari, leave by road for Srinagar. On reaching Srinagar, you will be transferred to the houseboats. Dinner and overnight stay in houseboats.
Day 05: Srinagar
In the morning, set out of the hotel to explore the length and breadth of Mughal Gardens. Visit the famous Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure, built by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 A.D.) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love built by Jehangir from his wife Empress Nur Jehan.) All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the backdrop. On the way, visit carpet weaving factory. Post lunch, enjoy Shikara ride on Dal Lake and visit floating & vegetable gardens etc. Later, return back to deluxe houseboats for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Srinagar – Jammu-Delhi
In the morning, take a road trip to Jammu. It is located at a distance of 300 kilometers that can be covered in 9 hours. Upon arrival in Jammu, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train for onwards journey.

Diverse environment of the park is noticeable from the park’s flora and fauna. Animals like the four-horned antelope, civet, sloth bear, spotted deer, flying fox, elephant, tiger, panther, leopard, gaur, sambhar, black-naped hare, wild boar, bonnet macaque, pangolin, etc freely dwell in this park.
Crawlers like cobras, mugger crocodiles, kraits, vipers, pythons and various species of lizards can be found here too. One can also spot rare species of birds like little cormorant, scarlet minivet, malabar whistling thrush, blue-bearded bee-eater, etc. This park is a great place for animal lovers and bird watchers.
The Jungle Safari is a must. Accompanied by a guide, visitors are likely to spot many birds, reptiles and animals. There is a fair chance of spotting large animal like the tiger, leopard, gaur and elephants. The boat ride and safari on the Kabini Lake is another way to explore and enjoy over a hundred species of birds near the beauty of the lake waters.
